AGE 3 – 6 YEARS
In our Pre-School and Pre-Kindergarten rooms we take each child’s maturity and development in to account as we aim to prepare them for school. Through play-based goals surrounding the children’s well-being, play/playfulness, communication and literacies, diversity, and responsibility, we are alongside them as they build their confidence, self-esteem, and social skills. Our goal is to incorporate each child’s strengths and interests through a curriculum that supports them holistically. The Pre-School & Pre-Kindergarten program focuses on hands-on exploration where the children can learn through cause and effect, problem-solving, and persistence. We offer a wide range of loose parts that cultivate their imagination and offer real life material manipulation. Through the flexible FLIGHT curriculum, educators and children play and learn alongside each other, embracing the active exploring, representations, and investigations in their everyday lives.
